Our next Scheduled Campout is the weekend of September 11-13th. We are planning on visiting Yosemite Valley. We are Leaving Friday night so we can Hike Half Dome on Saturday. There will be a Service Project for the Park on Sunday. Mr. Magnuson is the Tour Leader for the Campout.
This Campout has been designated a Family Campout. Family members are always invited to participate in our Scout outings but this Campout is well Suited for Family Participation.
The Hike for Half Dome is considered a 12 hour Hike. Please plan accordingly Remember the Boy Scout Motto, "Be Prepared." The Weather lately has been quite erratic plan for it. The hike is very challenging, If you are not used to hike you should be walking daily to build up your leg muscles for the hike. Remember to bring the appropriate water carrier or canteen.
Please Be Prepared to let the Troop if you are going at the meeting on Monday, August 31.
